Didactic concept

Each training by PTC+ is characterized by:

  • a clear purpose of teaching and learning
  • direct personal guidance by an experienced trainer
  • small groups of people, ensuring room for personal attention

All trainings take place in a practical situation. Only if it cannot be avoided  practical training is enhanced by theory explanations. In this way we create the best of practical training.

A clear learning objective

No training without a clear learning objective. In this it is clearly documented what the participant will learn during his training and what will be the result thereafter. By virtue thereof, each training by PTC+ will result in direct ‘profit'. After his training the participant is able to execute his new skills independently and in a professional and secure way.

Direct personal guidance

The trainer is carefully monitoring the safety and the learning process of the trainee or student. If here are any questions the trainer is immediately ready to provide explanations and to demonstrate the required skill. Each trainer is schooled didactically and knows exactly how to explain and transfer the skills to be obtained in a comprehensible fashion.

Small, manageable groups

A small and manageable group results in personal attention towards each trainee or student. PTC+ deems it of great importance that in each training there will be plenty of attention for the individual learning objectives of each of the participants. Safety is also an important factor. On the one hand the physical safety is best assured in a small group, and on the other hand a small group contributes mentally to a safe learning environment: the participant soon feels himself at home and he will be less inhibited.

Mistakes are allowed!

In a work situation with machinery and vehicles, an unwanted mistake can immediately result in personal or material damage. This is not a serious issue during a practical training at PTC+. For the trainer is always present, ready to watch over everybody's safety. Therefore, a practical training at PTC+ will prevent potential and costly damage.

Earlier acquired competences

If you do not have a diploma or certificate yet, but do possess the required skills and competences, then you can have your level of skills tested and documented at PTC+ according to the (Dutch) Testimony of Competences Acquired In-Career. That will come in handy, especially if you want to enlist in a training for which a specific (basic) knowledge is required or want to improve your career.
